A gorgeous nubuck leather, Dartmoor was inspired by one of the last great wildernesses in England with an inspirational landscape of heatherclad moors and rugged tors, offering a robust color pallet applicable for any industry.
Leather hides are lightly buffed during the tanning process to create the nubuck look and feel that is so appealing, while still maintaining the natural grain that will vary slightly within each hide. When upholstered, the leather’s luxurious nap displays sophistication and grace.
From an environmental perspective, in conforming with REACH directives, hides are tanned using highly advanced protection agents made from fats and oils found naturally within the cowhides to create a surface with water repellency properties, and protectant from liquids and staining.

Leather is a natural product. Distinctive markings and nuances in its texture and colour are natural in occurrence and a testatment to its authenticity.
Cuttings for approval (CFAs) are recommended for this leather. Expect slight color variation from dye lot to dye lot.
NOTE: Due to color variations on different monitors and color printers, before making exact color and texture matches, we recommend that you request an actual sample to ensure proper color representation as many monitors cannot display colors accurately. CTL Leather is not responsible for color selections made from this website.
NOTE: For a normal cleaning we suggest dusting with a soft dry cloth. It is absolutely forbidden to use abrasive or aggressive products such as solvents or stain removers. Do not use steam. Do not use shoe care products. Avoid placing the leather in direct sun light.
